This year, interested individuals participated in a rewarding, ten day trip dedicated to building houses for families in need.  A trip for 2010 is currently being organized.

Every year, this group meets on a scheduled Saturday to assist in eliminating poverty housing and homelessness from the St. Louis area by building affordable houses for those in need.

Centenary Cares

This program provides outreach to homeless men and women in downtown St. Louis.  Three free meals are served each day to approximately 150 people.  Individuals meet every third Tuesday to serve dinner and help with clean-up.

Room at the Inn

Innkeepers and helpers meet at the church the 4th Friday of each month to provide a safe place for homeless mothers and their children to stay for an evening.  This program was initially begun by the Divine Sisters of Peace and operates in more than 70 churches around the St. Louis area.

Sandwich Makers

This group meets every other Tuesday at 8:30 a.m. to buy food and prepare sandwiches which are then served at the Gateway Homeless Center.
